Behind the Design:

There's no city on earth quite like Athens. Having spent the largest portion of my adult life in the Classic City, I can truly attest to that.

Home to the University of Georgia, Athens is a cultural mecca of food, music and arts. Many young folks come of age in Athens, spending their first years outside of their parents' care. And some of those former students fall in love with the city and never leave. I believe those that do leave are always drawn back - not just for nostalgia's sake, but because Athens stays in the hearts of those lucky enough to live there even for a short time.

From late nights on Clayton and Washington, to grungy mid-week shows at the 40 Watt. From fall Saturdays decked out in red and black to lazy summer trips to Broad River. I have countless fond memories of the Classic City - too many to write in so few words.

So here's to your Athens stories - and to those you've yet to experience.
